Really, how do you burn Ramen Noodles? It is not a question that you hear often. You want to know why you don't hear it often? It is because most people, no matter how awful the chef, have the culinary capability to make a simple batch of Ramen. Well, not this girl. The first time I ever attempted to make anything myself, not involving a microwave, it was Ramen. I burned the crap out of that Ramen. I am unsure of how I managed to do so. All I am sure of is that it was so severe I had to throw away the pot. Seriously, the noodles literally melded onto the pot. No amount of scrubbing was going to get them off, so the pot had to go. Anyways the point of all this is that I can't cook. If it were not for the microwave, and other people with the capability to cook, I would most likely starve. Once my microwave broke... talk about a bad week.
Lucky for all of you I have decided to learn how to cook. Throughout my journey I will be documenting all my successes and failures. If my history in cooking is any indication, there will be plenty of failures to read about. This Sunday I will be attempting my first recipe. I haven't quite settled on something. I should probably start with something simple. Maybe a T.V. dinner. HA!. Just kidding, I am open for suggestions though!
